The Attic Suite

The third floor was once used to protect the house from protesting coal miners.  The oval windows were made to open like a vent, allowing armed men to keep the protesters at bay so long ago.

Within this space, we now have a two-room suite that can accommodate a family of four.  The queen-sized bed and goose down duvet provide the rest that parents need.  The children’s nook and a single bed provide comfortable sleeping spaces for the kids.  Early bedtime?  No problem.  While the little ones fall asleep dreaming of dinosaurs and adventure, the adults can enjoy the attached sitting room, complete with a window balcony that overlooks the backyard.  The clawfoot tub is great for kids and equally as great for long soaks.  Maximum capacity, 2 adults and 2 children. Air conditioned.
